Placed in B5, climb to B4, then placed back in B5 after extra promo? Is this a joke?

Well the title pretty much says it all. They really screwed me over on this one. I had played my 10 promo games after s6 ended, and won 5/5. Admittedly not playing the absolute best, but still. So after I get placed in Bronze 5 I think to myself well there's nothing to lose so I started maining Bard support. Well I managed to get myself on a little climb and got to Bronze 4. Now after this extra promo game that was put in place, I play it as support, go 1/2/20 and STILL get put right back in Bronze 5. That is pretty much a slap in the face, and extremely dissuading to say the least.
