Support Main, need help please!

SO. I'm currently in silver elo for reasons I regret. (trying new champs, builds, learning roles) So this is my karma I suppose, but now I'm trying to climb and have run into some difficulties. I have 6 Wins 14 Loses in my last 20 games. I thought I was doing everything right considering my stats but I must be missing something. (3.8 / 6.0 / 16.4) 3.36:1 (61%) kill contribution. And I ward A LOT. So i'm hoping someone who has run into this before can help me? and yes, I have been playing meta support.

Just skimming through your match history, have you tried tailoring your builds more for your opponents? Your Alistar games especially, I notice you always build item 3050

just about every game. It has a cool effect, but it's not reliable and a lot of its power is tied to its conditional trigger. I would try something more reliable stat-wise, or maybe try item 3109

instead.

Other than that, general things to be aware of: -Don't just place wards, be mindful of where you place them and the timing. -Map awareness and rotations. Always look at your minimap and see where the enemy is (or isn't!), and where you should be. -As a support especially, if you win lane, you shouldn't just stick with your ADC. Help your teammates win their lanes too. Roam with your jungler and look for picks just before an important objective, and so on.
