So what does everyone think about the new Teemo update in 7.4?

I noticed in the 7.4 patch notes, a little surprise for Teemo " Teemo's R - Noxious Trap MUSHROOM CIRCLE Now shows collision radius TARGETABLE HITBOX 50 units ⇒ 125 units (collision radius unchanged)"

So if im correct this makes the AoE of shrooms increased by 150%?! or did I read this wrong?

You read that completely wrong.

"Targetable Hitbox" refers to clearing mushrooms. It's easier to auto attack mushrooms while being a Melee character without the mushroom blowing up in your face as you try to clear it.

Ahh, I heard a little about this, thank you for the clarification. Kinda sad that they continue to nerf Teemo even though he's been nerfed to the endangered species list. Guess I'll just have to continue to adapt.

On the up side, it is now impossible to disable Teemo shrooms.

oh god no no no noooooooooo. this means more people are gonna play this pos champ in ranked and make me lose.

He read it backwards.

What they increased is the radius where you could auto attack Teemo's mushrooms to kill them, decreasing your chance of accidentally stepping on one while trying to clear it.

yeah I know but the point is people will see this and think OMG BUFF TO TEEMO OP.

Well, he did get a buff. Ask anyone who plays ARAM how often they'll reveal a trap with item 2047 only to have a teammate run over it anyway. That's what it's going to be like on Summoners Rift.

I will agree that that part is a huge relief xD but it only works in low elo :/ I'm worried about when I reach gold and plat... nobody would run over shrooms then

That's always been the problem with Teemo at the high end of the spectrum, and it's why picking him in Pro Play is a complete joke. It's still an improvement (for Teemo) in low elo from where it was.

Yeah, I remember the first pro game I saw when Reginald (did I spell his name right? :/) played Teemo bot lane and i was so happy...haven't seen it done since xD I guess He'll just have to get me out and Ahri/ Diana will carry me the rest of the way

idc he is still useless garbage and always will be until he gets a complete rework.

It means a melee champ has a bigger box to hit when you reveal a trap so you can destroy them. Before even if revealed the loss of trap disable would mean certain champs would be unable to destroy the traps even though they can see them.

I mean, they buffed him anyways.

Expect more Satan in your game sometime soon.

You read this incredibly wrong. The collision radius is now visible while shrooms are revealed, simply meaning that you can see the area you have to enter for them to detonate when you can see them. The targetable hitbox is actually a nerf. This means you can attack Teemo's mushrooms from a further distance. (75 more units)

The AoE and size of the mushrooms themselves remains unchanged.
