Season 7 Solo Que.
So with solo que coming back into the equation, i am curious, will the new, separate ranked style carry over previous MMR from dynamic, or how is this going to be addressed. One could only hope for a hard reset...

Your End-Of-Season MMR from the current queue system will carry over for both Flex and Solo/Duo queue in Season 7. There is no need for a hard reset. Boosted players will tank their placements, and rapdily fall to a MMR closer to where they belong. It'll be a painful time for the teammates that have to lose games with them as they fall, but it will work itself out. It's much better than having masters players in games with Bronze 5's from a hard reset.
it wont be a hard reset everyone to ~silver 5 elo
instead riots going to give a big, more steep, soft reset than they were in the previous seasons. gold players might see bronze again, and plats to silver, etc.
its worth noting riot may also take into consideration your preference of group or solo play.
