Getting filled into my Secondary role more than my Primary

I'm not sure what happened or why this is happening but I get filled into my Secondary more than my Primary. Why is this? Is this how Riot intended to design the match making system? Am I misunderstanding something? Or is it a glitch or just bad logic in the programming? One way or another, it's not what I expected. I want to be an ADC main and I used to play some Jungle so I que as ADC Primary and Jungle Secondary. I was not intending to be a Jungle main.

It's because this season's jungle changes were so ass no one wants to play the role. You'd have better luck setting support as your secondary at this point

Jungle is far less popular than ad it’s just a fact. That scenario is the exact same as queing for mid first then support you will get support way more often.
