Autofill forces players to play roles that they don't want to play, usually being support, and it makes me kind of angry when I lose a game because someone was forced into a role that they didn't want to play. I think it's fine in normals because there's no direct consequence of losing... I just think that forcing players to play a role they dont want to play in exchange for shorter queue times isnt really worth it...

Previous problem, You get placed low in pick order and have to fill, typically with last pick being forced into support. This was upsetting and folks got vocal about it, So we get the new pregame lobby and role selection to deal with folks not having to play off roles all the time and put a end to PICK vs CALL. Issue is not enough players to fill every role, so to keep times down folks are randomly picked to play a needed role, again typically support. Then they get their main roles for 2-3 games after to compensate them which should be enough to give them wiggle room to climb even if they get auto filled every single game its enabled for them.
I keep recommending folks get 1 support champion they like and master them and then intentionally play a game as support to enable fill protection with out the randomness of autofill, it should help keep your win % then the folks who don't and get filled into something they have no clue to do. Then again when I want to climb ladder I main supports so I truly don't get why people hate the role.
