Ranked Queue is so bad....

So, every time I join a ranked queue I always end up with all bronze / unranked on my side (I am bronze 4) and all silver and gold on the other side which makes it pretty much impossible for me to win games to rank up to other elos. I don't understand why Riot can't just put us with players of our own ELO instead of matching us up against people 10x better than us
