Please re-add the names to the kill overlay on the top of the screen.
It feels wrong without it.
It feels wrong without it.
It's hard to tell whether it was your team getting a kill or the other team, so you have to look at the side list of kills more often.
It's very difficult to keep track of whose winning the team fights because all you know is when someone dies, not the team they were on.
There is an announcer voice clip. There are team's icons to the left which you can instantly look at. There are color-coded circles around the hero icons in the overlay. (which used to look sharper before the update but whatever) Lastly, there are popups to the right side of the screen, which are still not color coded for some reason. If clarity of the kill notifications is such an issue (which it probably isn't, but whatever), then the logical step would be to change those popups. Why did Riot decide to essentally anonymize all kills is beyond me.
EDIT: The right-side popups are already color coded, but I never noticed it for some reason. My bad.
I disagree. I like the new format. It's cleaner, and just feels right for the sake of the team. Anonymize kills? Assuming you don't remember the summoner name of whomever was just killed, hit Tab. That'll tell you exactly what just happened.
I'm for the new format. It's not just cleaner, it puts more of a team-play flavor in it.
I would like to add, though, that I think the Assists involved should at least get a little recognition in the announcement. That's ambiguous, because when it comes to credit, that just means they got the last hit. Not sure I like that, considering that they didn't necessarily do the majority of the work, and all the assist characters get no recognition for their necessary help in winning most fights.
+1
Shit sucks
No, you don't need it.
I think that it's just bad English.
Ally slain
?? Which one is the ally?
It should be:
has slain/slew ally/allied
or
has slain/slew enemy
