Is it just me or is Cait actually better than Tristana late game?

I feel like Tristana has a similar power curve as Cait. although with a weaker early game and no poke or zoning tools. However, remembering her from past seasons, I thought she was a late game powerhouse. Having actually played vs a Cait. late game, I feel like she's actually even stronger than Tristana late. Her headshots just roll every other auto and her ult. does 1000+ damage to finish off stragglers.

What do you guys think of Tristana right now and especially vs late game Cait.? She isn't picked much anymore and her winrate is a bit on the low end but her reset mechanic can lead to some big snowballs.

Caitlyn is just stupid, her passive's interaction with hurricane is absolutely stupid and idk why rito haven't changed it yet.

she is better than tristana late game. its not just you. she two hits people with 2 headshots.

tristana is quite. garbage. compared to other adcs because the adc role is so ridiculous. the only weak adc is kalista. rest are fine however vayne jinx caitlyn twitch are broken.

cait is quite a bit over the top imo. However, tristana still has a couple of advantages. she's harder to catch when pushing sidelanes with the high range on her W and the aoe-knockback from ult, she has better selfpeel vs most assasins IF they get ontop(which is harder to do vs cait and her traps). Earlygame, i wouldn't say tris is weaker. She's less save, but has way harder snowball potential. Her early all-ins are probably the most potent of any marksmen and with a cc support like leona, tris can become a very potent kill-lane. She also has way better 1v1 than cait in the mid and higher(active) solokill preassure through out the game, she can actually force things while caitlyn can only play the long game. Also, tris remains the fastest towertakeing adc and still has the cleanup potential that cait lacks to convert a won fight into a straight ace.

However, while she has strong snowball potential, tristana also has a realy hard time catching up if she falls behind early, she lacks ranged waveclear/far options and can't contribute to early/midgame fights without getting quite a bit close, and once in combat distance her W is actually a rather weak escape due to the awfully slow animation. So all in all, tris is not that much weaker than cait, but she works differently and is more of a high risk, high reward pick, while cait is more the 'slow and steady wins the race' type, with right now a bit to much reward for how low her risk is(mostly the 5traps and the insane damage of her empowered headshots)

Tristana has always felt more objective based than some 1 v 1 or 1 v 5 monster. You lose a teamfight end game with Tristana still alive... good chance you lost the game even if you have three towers standing in her way. But since death timers get longer and longer, that slowly becomes true for just about every ADC. If there was a cap on death timers, her end game strengths would feel more relevant.

Trist is situationally better.

On average Caitlyn is way better

Tristana is naturally weaker compared to a lot of adcs tho

Cait can fucking auto an assassin 2 times before they can kill her late game.

Trist is like the safer version of jinx. They both have snowbally resets except trist has a jump. Besides that, trist does feel a little weak and her autos feel like firing a peashooter.
