Still dont have my PBE account
Ive been waiting for my PBE account for over 2 years at this point and I guess I would be ok with that as long as I knew why. So...why?

Odds are you don't play the types of champions they want tested on the PBE.
Riot selects PBE players who play what they want tested. So there was probably a round of acceptances for people who played the ADCs they recently reworked (guess I missed that one, as an ADC main but my main was Jinx!) and then from the mages they're going to rework.
If you're chasing the meta then you're playing really popular champions and that would lower your chances. If instead you stick to playing something unpopular, when Riot decides to rework that champion you'd probably get a PBE invitation. That's my best bet at least.
a friend waited 2 seasons im cass/illaoi main and got it in 3 days after her rework was relased on pbe in season 4
