I think the Riot should not deduct the** LP** if the team is winning and losses due to an AFK. The player not even trying to join the game back should be banned for playing the League of legends. Moreover I have seen some players sitting on the base and enjoy the win of the opponent team, Intentionally feeding the other team and when we ask them they says,"nothing happens if you report or as if riot is watching this match again".

Of course the toxic person is going to say that reports don't work. That way people are more likely to not report them. Its all a mind game to distract you.
Just ignore them, report them, and then move on. They are not worth your time or energy.
