@Riot, your thoughts on Sion's passive as of now.
Riot, do you think he needs any changes to his passive at all? I feel like he's doing pretty well as of late, but there's still things in his passive that IN MY OPINION tick me off:
-
He can be stopped by one slow, and can never catch up. I don't like this thought, as he's the same guy who ran through a war zone to get to a king, and strangle him to death. He should feel UNSTOPPABLE, but of course, not UNKILLABLE.
-
His MS feels really slow for some reason. Like even if he isn't hit by anything, and doesn't use the death surge immediately, he just sorta... walks to his target. Could he just be faster when he's dead, or gets faster as his secondary HP depletes? Death surge does help for only a little while though. Speaking off...
-
Death surge isn't the most interesting ability here. Yes, if you were to give him something different, it might make him too strong
-
His damage late game, unless you build damage for it, is really bad. It doesn't have much OMMPH in his hits; He just feels like he's slapping people silly. Sure he doesn't need to get kills in this form, but when you're in a desperate situation to try and get people off your team via threat...it just doesn't feel like he's doing much of anything.

Last thing, the healing needs to be changed from life steal to max HP%. Who's %? Im not sure, as I don't know how OP his own HP % healing would be. If you're going down the typical tank build, the passive is already useless because there's little to no damage; so the only good thing about it at this point is to be annoying...but that's hard when you can't sustain for too long, as well as the other problems listed above.
Overall, while I do have my bias towards this champion, I think if anything he needs a few tweaks on the passive. Im sorry if I sound a bit whiny, I just love the big guy and everything about him; I just want to see a better passive.
Anyways, enough about me, Riot what are your thoughts on all this?
