My ping has doubled after patch 6.17

Before the current patch(6.17), my pi g was at a very, very stable 39 ms. Now that the new patch has launched my ping will fluctuate between 40 and 120 rapidly. Any idea as to why this might be happening?

Steps I've taken- Re-install Tinker with in game settings Run anti-virus software

I have a very modern PC that is capable to run smoothly so that is also out of the question.

This should go in the help and support http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support Have you tried using a ethernet cable to many devices can effect it.Also things like netflix which stream can effect gameplay so if your family is watching that can do it. that's personally made me get 300 ms or so in games.

Since the latest patch I have less fps and higher ping as well

same problem. very weird. but my ping went from 40s-50s to 80s-100s.

My ping was 49-51 now its around 60

Same, since last patch I've gone from 30 ping to 80-90.

I used to have a solid 44. Now I have between 60 and 120 all the time.

I've had random frame drops, I have my max frames capped @ 30fps so I'm real confused why this is even a thing.

Just chiming in that I have the exact same issue. I've noticed that my ping has been spiking the past few days. I took a look at my network logs through Logs of Lag and noticed that it all began after the patch 6.17 release.

Ever since then I've noticed that my ping will spike up as soon as another player appears on my screen. Running an Ethernet cable straight to my PC and it's the only device currently connected.
