Auto smite switch is cool but...

I always pick Mid+Adc. I was autofilled into jungle and my ignite was switched to smite and the game was almost immediately dodged by someone else. I went into the next game and got Mid but didn't think to change the smite back to ignite.

The game would have went differently if I had ignite, not saying we would have won but it would have been closer. Yeah yeah it's only normals, but I don't want to play a 30 minute game handicapped because of not having my sums. Why can't it be made that if you get filled into Jungle and your sum is switched to smite that it can't be switched back in the case of a dodged game?
