FPS drops in the community is at large, has become a big problem this season, and is not okay

I've been around since season one, and it's been a fun ride. With the meta changing as much as it has in the past few seasons, it's kept the game interesting and still very playable with a large player base.

Recently(about a month to two months) though it's been a chore to play this game on my rig at 120 fps. It usually begins to drop from a steady 120 to a steady 115-119 that drops lower occasionally during teamfights, and the frame lag this causes is actually very noticeable. It was not a problem prior to all this, and my rig is only at 4 months since being built. I've read all of Riots past posts on fps and their most current ones. I've tried all your hotfix's and the rest. I've ran malware checks just in case as well and even reset my windows from the ground up. At this point, I'm convinced it's something going on with the client and not my PC, and I am not the only person having these issues with a half decent rig. If these problems continue to persist, I can't keep wasting my time playing this game when I used to enjoy the competitive edge of ranked only to now have it be frustrating with all these fps problems. Watching others make mistakes and have to blame it on fps, and myself of course, just is not a good time. I've spent enough money on this game for it to hurt when I calculate it lol, but it'll all have to stop as I will be putting this game down and moving on if it just keeps getting worse with each new patch.
