hello lovely people of riot! I want to talk about the new changes made to in patch 7.13 and how he E scaling was changed to ad instead of ap. I was a huge fan of ap shaco and melting people with gunblade, shiv, box combos made my day whenever I played him. Since his e scaling was changed I was wondering how this is going to work out for people who enjoy the ap shaco playstyle more than the meta ad playstyle and if there is any chance ap shaco would get a buff somehow or his boxs scaling would change since you seem to be steering him in the ad direction. Sincerely, A person who loved to play and loved hating shaco and his lovely boxes.

Yeah this patch is the last straw for me. Couldn't play Malzahar how I wanted and now AP Shaco which I love playing.

k after reading the patch notes and realizing im dumb I think u guys just changed the damage to ad not the scaling but its worded in a weird way... I have no idea. Still curious about the poll though

Ap shaco has an overall less "healthy" playstyle of "one shot and run" or "bait/troll into boxes", but Ad shaco is harder to balance. When he's strong he one shots too consistently and often, when he's weak there's no reason to pick him because other champs do his job better. I like Ad shaco better but that's just my playstyle

I made a post about this change as it pretty much kills AP shaco item builds in general. Also mathematically this is an overall nerf to his E as this Tanky meta focuses heavily on armor and everyone gets armor even the ADC for Guardians. Heavy AP build is pretty much dead and getting megic pen for boxes and lich bane proc isnt worth it. I tried Hybrid shred build against a tank in top lane with wit's end and Black cleaver. Worked pretty well into late game as well. Still as a AP Shaco top main since season 2 pretty sad about shaco's direction overall. wish they revert before "assassin" rework.
