Ivern blows chunks

The release of Ivern and his gameplay remind me of the release of Bard....Omg this guy sucks Riot was suppose to make these champs fun instead makes a champ that no one can get kills with everyone will get kills instead of Ivern. First time I play him in custom game w/beginner bots and i lose the game... I lauged so hard at how much this champ stinks. He cant wave clear his q is the only good thing and its on suck a long cool down that is frustrating, i found myself waiting to use it so i could get the last Hit.

sure i care about league but he should have come out extra op then after 3 weeks let the nerfing begin, bard was a big flop when he came out and nobody bought him then they buffed him and hes fun to play. just saying Riot should have learned from the bard release

Starting out OP is honestly a bad idea from a balance standpoint.

And he's probably OP in a different way with easy level 1 invades and no need for a leash.

Ivern is a SUPPORT/JUNGLER. Those are two extremely important roles that contradict everything you posted about. Junglers typically don't have great waveclear because they don't lane. Ivern is no exception. Supports are designed to aid and assist teammates in landing kills, not designed to get kills by themselves. Ivern is intended to gank lanes and help the ally laner get the kill, he's not a kill-count jungler like Yi, Rengar, or Kha'Zix. You just simply do not understand how Ivern is supposed to be played. You don't play him like a typical jungler because he isn't a typical jungler. You play him like a roaming support.

Some junglers have pretty good waveclear though. Sej, Shyv, AP Mumu, Vi with her E, Master Yi, kindred after she gets hurricane and a few stacks on her passive, etc.

If Kindred has to get an item to waveclear, then she doesn't have good waveclear. And I said typically, jungler don't have good waveclear. "Typically" does not equal "all."

From day 1 of worlds junglers used on the winning teams are as follows: Olaf, Elise, Olaf, Lee, Rek'sai, Hecarim. All of which minus (maybe) Elise have at least double the damage for waveclearing purposes alone compared to Ivern while doing their own thing. All of those champions also can hold their own against a top laner for a sizable amount of time alone, Ivern can't do that in the least, he's too team reliant and the lack of mobility means that he'll not see competitive play either.

I mean, if you can't beat bots with any champ in the game solo, then you're playing poorly and/or building bad for it.

yeah i play solo in custom games all the time with me against 5 enemy champs and can go 100 kills and zero deaths try it sometime its a good teacher

If you build Bard with the expectation of fighting against 5 bots, he can easily destroy them. There is no point in build the standard Locket/Mikael's/Sightstone/whatever support build when you don't have teammates. You don't even have to go adc Bard to beat bots, grab a Lich Bane and stack AP and it's easy.

Apparently , you don't understand what kind of niche he fills and what kind of role he has on a team .

He's not supposed to kill , he's supposed to help get kills . He's supposed to control the map , and especially the jungle . He's a miracle if it comes to sieging .

But there will be people who will abuse of his high ap ratios and will play him full ap cdr . 'Cause it's fun and he has them right ? Oh , right , he has them .

Umm , maybe beceause he seems fun to play ? And maybe he has a ton of valuable things that people at higher elo will use with pleasure ? Maybe he will be played in ranked 5v5 ?

I played him with bots after seeing this post and I honestly love him. His Q is on a rather long CD but with 40% CDR its a 7.2 CD. and it does nice dmg.

So, lets talk about his his Q. With about 668 AP it does 260(+482) Magic DMG, Rooting them in place for 2 Seconds (Max Rank) Thats pretty damn good already. Now, you can also have an ally click on the enemy you rooted and dash into them? OP OP OP. Ex. you're jungling and you go bot for a gank, your're ADC is farming minions and you run up behind him and Q em, you're carry sees this and as you are damaging them you're ADC dashes and helps you finishing them off. Or your'e support uses it and helps CC them even more. Its a beast spell.

Now, hes W instant bushes that turn you're melee magic DMG attacks into ranged? ( lasts a few seconds after leaving the bush and you can basically walk into a bush every few seconds to constantly stay with ranged) Oh and did I mention you get bonus Magic DMG? How much? with 688 AP thats 60(+206) thats still quite a bit. You can even build a nashers tooth do make it even more juicer? (Can someone help me on that one? How do you feel on that?) Oh and you can throw your bush into another bush if you wanna check it for 3 seconds. Oh and you can hold 3 bushes with a 13 second CD if I remember correctly.

Okay, his E is probs my favorite spell he has. Its a shield, it does DMG, and what?? it also slows the enemy it hits???? with 688 AP it shields you for 240(+551) DMG. Now like I said it also does Magic DMG 180(+482) and slowing them by 70% for 3 seconds with a 4.8 Sec. CD? Now remember the shield last 2 seconds so 2.8 seconds after it explodes you can use it again and slow them again? Can someone say OPOPOPOPOP?????

Now for his R I'm sorry I haven't paid attention to it much other than it being a Tibbers without the stun that I think deals more DMG or has more HP the more AP you have? If someone can explain his ult more I would appreciate that.

Now The items I build on him may not have been the ideal Items they did however did the job. The were in order of purchase Rylai's, Lonian booties ( You could try 6 Scaling CDR runes and grab the Sorc boots. next, I wanted some CDR so I got Morellonomiconm, Lichbane, finishing off with a Rabadons and Void staff. again, what would be your opinion on a Nashers Tooth on Invern? I would love to hear how others built him.

Now. This is probably the most I've wrote about any champion and some of my information or math could be wrong so If someone could correct me on it again, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Assuming ivern can amass 688 ap, thats already late game, considering his passive is a handicap for farming since he has to wait 20 seconds for a camp and prone to being invaded. Yes every single jungler can almost instantly clear a camp with smite after lvl 6.

If ivern has 688 ap, everyone is already full build. Your economy will be slightly better than your support. You have 688 ap, but what is your output in team fights? Your short AA range even with bush will mean you can get instantly sniped by any team with a brain. No having an extra 600 health with a shield will not protect you from a full build team.

Yeah q has a unique interaction, but gl actually landing on anyone important considering it travels extremely slow and ivern has 0 mobility for reaching backline and that unique ability is just a stun if you use it for peeling.

You make Ivern invading sound like an advantage, when its actually a necessity. Ivern must invade otherwise he will get invaded himself, in fact he probaby will get invaded, because why not? Worst case scenario he sees you, you flash your master emote, finish clearing the camp your doing because he cant damage you, then you walk away, or kill him in return for even getting near you.

Why dont u give some counter points, and make sure to add more op op op to comments to highlight points without regarding any negative aspects of the kit.

Its essentially saying person being replied to inferior intelligence because all these points could have been understood by just READING the champion abilities let alone giving any actual thought behind it.
