Can everyone give Riot a break?

So, as everyone has mentioned a million and one time, we did not get urf game mode for April fools day. But this was mentioned how many times?

BUT, they did give us something new. Draven Day. Which quite frankly, was the most hilarious thing ever. Everyone was our favorite axe throwing wonder man. They did something completely new, that was not earth shattering, or anything super special, but it was something.

April fools is not holiday everyone. The fact this company takes time out of its day trying to fix the mess that some champs and mechanic are going through at the moment, to give you, something shiny and new, should be a testament to Riot. They care enough about the people, to try to have a little fun.

But as with every community someone has to have a problem with everything.

"But....but...I don't like " "Who cares about " "Fuck give me URF!"

Well, special snowflakes, obviously enough people cared about Draven to find this entire thing funny, and read enough of the plethora of news that riot gives to us to realize, "Wow, give it a few months, we could be looking at a semi-permanent urf with the new rotating game mode. So now, not only do I get urf, but everyone gets to play their favorite modes."

Why can't this community just be happy for something. Or if they aren't happy about a non-mechanic changing element, why can't we just discuss it or even take proper actions to address Riot correctly? Everyone has to be so toxic, and go no where with it.

I love this game, and I love the content it provides, because you can see the work and dedication of a lot of people in every detail of this game.

And then the same people who made this have to go home and check their emails to see millions of people who don't even know the beginning of game design, tell them to do their jobs.

So, if Riot does not actually care, we, the consumers, have no one to blame but themselves.

TL;DR: If you are gonna bitch, at least take a moment to think about how and what you are bitching about. And maybe if you find yourself about to reply to someone about how dumb they are, ask yourself one single question. "Have I even read anything about this, that was from Riot themselves?"
