Just trying to get some insight on how to better play Twisted Treeline and get out of bronze 5. xD Seems like ever game is that whoever has the most cc win, at least in my case. At any rate, any advice, tips, or even constructive criticism would be gladly appreciated.

I've played over 1000 TT games.

There are 2 gameplay styles. I prefer number 1 it's more straightforward

  1. Bottom, Top, and a Jungler
  2. Bottom, Top, and a support who takes jungle camps.

3v3 is very snowbally. You always want to push your lane and you want your jungler to be aggessive. The best jungle path is to take wolves and then gank (you hit lvl 2 off 1 camp). Then go back to your jungle and finish off the remaining 2 camps (hit lvl 3) and take your alter.

The alters are not that important to have. But if you control both you get a movespeed advantage which is something to consider.

Vilemaw is very risky to do and should only be done when you have killed 2 players on the enemy team or have both inhibitors.

Keep your nexus turret alive because you can easily turtle under it and catch up if you are behind.

Meta champs are: Early game Champs, Fighters, CC mages.

assassins don't really belong and ADC's only work if you have a strong support..But i don;t like that playstyle

Judging by your trackrecord, I would probably drop Karma as one of your choices. Playing a utility mages is going to make it more difficult to farm. But if you choose to keep Karma, I probably wouldn't bother with FQC. On TT, you should be filling the role of an Utility carry, not a support.

For champion select, Think about what your champion offers to the team. This is more of a challenge than in SR, partially because a less known meta, but also because your team has fewer champs to develop a comp. Your Illaoi pick seems interesting, but I imagine it would struggle if your other team members didn't offer any MS boosts or lock down. I might try using ghost with her, if you need the extra mobility to really get a fight going.

Though since TT is only 3v3, you might not need a heavy Tank or Juggernaut, and get away with a Diver or Skirmisher. (maybe try Xin Zhao if you wanted to try Jungle.)

Treeline currently has two main metas: the support meta and the jungle meta. The jungler meta tends to run an AD Marksman or Fighter top, a Mage bot, and a Tank/Fighter jungle. For the support meta, the top-laner grabs Smite, and the jungler is replaced by a Tank support for a duo-top.

The guys over at The Shadow Isles came out with a new 3v3 Bible recently that has much more in-depth information on TT gameplay. MetaLoL and METAsrc offer tier lists if you're interested in relative champion power.
