I wish sion smashed the player made terrain walls with his ult, like ornn with his e, mostly, because it would feel incredibly satisfying. Insert attack on Titan reference here

'unstoppable' is an effect that prevents cc.

Azir's wall is not cc (after it has been summoned), it is terrain and will stop him.

Although I'm not sure if it counts as terrain during its initial 'sweep' animation before it has settled into a static position.

It doesn't. Olaf can ult and Azir's soldiers won't push him away. However he cannot ult and simply walk through a wall that Azir already set up.

No, he smashes into it like Anivia ice wall, However I have noticed there are times I get passed it playing Sion when Azir mistimes the execution. Like he can go through it while the wall is is mid animation before it halts in place. Been awhile since I have had the opportunity to test this again so it might have changed.

Yep. Emperors divide actually isn't as reliable as it was when Azir first came out. Anyone with CC immunity or immunity to displacements can bypass it.

Warwick for example can ult through it, or if he is in range of Azir, Q through it.
