Why must you gut Akali, but allow busted kits like yas/pyke/irel are still allowed to roam free.

They've made the champ completely unplayable. There's no more opportunity for outplays because you get crushed (or run out of energy) before they enter execute range. Sad end to a fun champ.

I like how you listed one person (Yasuo) who hasn't been gutted and reworked recently but claim two who have seen heavy changes (Irelia, and Pyke) 'to roam free'.

"Sad end to a fun champ."

Akali was downright oppressive and broken as shit, dude. She NEEDED to be nerfed. Gutted, no. Honestly reducing the numbers on her Q healing along with the W changes probably would have been enough, and Riot DID go a bit overkill in my opinion. Who knows though, changes might not be as bad as they seem. When Riot made all the changes that I thought would "gut" Taliyah she ended up becoming one of the best and most oppressive junglers in the game. Worst comes worst they may just shoot Akali a few small buffs if she really suffers that much.

Irelia was gutted in 9.3 too. Yasuo is annoying as fuck, but close to balanced. I have no excuse for Pyke lol, but I think what Riot's doing with Akali is gutting her, then slowly buffing her back up to a more healthy state w/out the ability to hide under turrets. I get it sucks, but it's better to have a single champion be really underpowered than gamebreaking.

I prefer an Akali that is slightly viable with the heal than any iteration.

I mean Irelia not busted anymore. I agree with Pyke he's pretty broken. Yasuo is different in that his kit may be busted but the mechanics are much more complicated than a champ like Pyke so even if Yasuo is a broken champ you have to be good at playing him in order for him to actually be broken.
