So I was in a game and we were against an akili so I ignite her in a gank and she could still go invisible. Is this suppose to happen cause I remember that if you ignited a champ that can go invisible you could still see them. Just asking if it has changed don't use ignite too often.

It doesn't work on stealth anymore. maybe it never did wiki says it was a bug, but either way it doesn't grant true vision.

I believe it used to grant sight through stealth, but it was changed a while back.

It takes "True Sight" to spot an enemy unit in stealth. Currently, only abilities, towers, and Pink Wards can do so. This pretty much means that stealth has no real counter play late game when everyone has full builds unless you have prepared for it. It is one of the reasons why people are complaining about Rengar so much, since the only way to stop him is to drop a pink.

Against Akali, just always remember to stock up on pink wards. It takes away her only real method of escape.

(Not 100% sure but) It gives "vision" in things like bushes or the fog of war, stealth is a different story.. just think of ignite like putting a normal ward on top of the target.
