Is this fair match making Riot Games? Am I supposed to have fun being completely destroyed and outplayed with my low rankings. Never been Plat in my 5 year League career yet Im matched with Plats and Diamond players.

but plats and diamonds aren't all that great, many are boosted and play like they belong in bronze, most plats are hardly any better then golds and i don't think ive ever lost lane vs a diamond player yet, though i almost never actually lose my lane to be honest but i can say ive lost my lane more often to silver and bronze players then to diamond players :D
Kaioko3 votesYour match history is full of normals. This has been explained numerous times, but ranked and normal are treated separately for match making. Rank players especially higher ranked ones typically try out new champions and build in normal games before taking them into their rank matches.

Second, I sometimes go vs Challenger and Masters being Diamond 4, and I see this as a challenge to copy them and improve rather than just giving up. This is a great oppertunity to learn from your opponent who clearly is of higher skill. I've won several games when I'm matched vs higher elo opponents in DuoQ, and I've also lost. If you stop focus on LP and start focusing on learning, you'll improve a lot, and eventually these higher skilled players will become equally skilled to you.

Moonblight1 votesI had a guy who was currently ranked plat 5 in my Solo/Duo Q promos to silver 3. I think this is due to MMR being high, but still, having to beat plat players to get to silver 1/Gold 5 just feels bad, especially when I've personally never made it past silver 2.

I do unranked to diamond runs every season. With no runes. Would you hold that against me too, just because I need a challenge and opposing teams need me to have a handicap?
