I know what the OP says. They never stated he was a support main and just because their in bronze doesn't mean a support main can't carry. All they need to have is good postioning, be decent at peeling when necessary, and make good decisions when it comes to engaging, disengaging, and objective control. Though I do agree that in Bronze it is very very tough to carry as a support but doable. Heck I myself managed to get from B5 to G5 last season solely supporting.
Somehow though when you assumed he was a support main you put last hitting as something to work on? Supports rarely need to last hit and last hitting is generally good for mid, adc, and top mains. Having low CS is good for most supports as long as they have a gold item. Your other pieces of advice were solid as warding and engaging is a big part of supporting. But it also depends on the champions they support with.
Such as a Leona needs to be aware of her adc's health and mana as well as where enemies are on the map before engaging. She'll also need to know if her adc will follow up when she does engage. Some matches though for Leona she'll want to counter-engage (Thresh, Ali, Braum, and Taric) rather than straight engage (Lulu, Bard, Nami, Soraka).
But anyway as per request here is the video link you requested.
