Riot should remove the surrender function.

Idc if someone has a team of 2 afk's or even more at 20 minutes: they should still try a bit. surrendering is dumb and the main reason i hate soloq sometimes. people who ff because they feel slightly disadvantaged or behind, without considering where their teammates are in elo. Surrendering is useless and just induces rage. It has no positive benefits at all and is just a "Hey we're going to fuck you over" button. Screw the fact that people can surrender. Its dumb, Remove it. surrendering is not a good thing! you want to improve the league community so just remove it!

Would you surrender if they had a team of: Rengar Yasuo Jinx Blitzcrank Fiora And they all had 100 kills, 0 deaths, 100 assists? You would, and I would too, because I don't want to be in a game with that, which happened to me once. So shut up and go back to your hiding hole, there's surrender for a reason.

I've had games where we were 100% winning and my team surrenders because one player clicks the surrender button so people so out of habit of surrendering just press yes... I've had this happen more than once =\ And this happened in RANKED... They gave up a win just because they needed to click surrender out of habit because they think its cool to surrender =\

I think surrendering in ranked should be removed from low elo and not allowed to do it until you are at least gold =\ but surrendering should be allowed everywhere else.

That is quite possibly the worst idea I've ever heard. If my team mates don't ff I just afk. If there was no ff option well I would be Afking at probably 10 minutes every other game.

If you're so concerned about team mates voting ff because they underestimate how totally awesome you are, perhaps you should do a better job showing them how awesome you are.

You obviously have trouble inspiring confidence in most players you play with.

The only time I hate surrender is when I'm teamed with a 4 man as a solo player and right at exactly 20:00 they FF and quit the match. This has happened 3 times 2 of which we were ahead on kills and had at least 1 tower down in all lanes matter of fact one game we had the bottom inhib down before 20:00 and they ) /FF then they laughed in post game chat. Was quite annoying.

Surrendering should not be removed as some people find that a waste of time. That said, surrendering should have a condition (in addition to 70% of all non-afk players) that requires at least 51% of all premades to prevent a 4-man premade surrendering at 20 in ranked when you're ahead as the solo player.

I mean I see where you're coming from. Had a ranked game surrendered when I was 26/3 after my ADC left (supp role) and I ended up carrying only for the others all to surrender the moment we lost one team fight, which only happened because they went in to fight without me.

But, there are also times where surrendering is a needed option. You don't have to agree to it, but surrender is needed.

Yeah I kinda agree, but I know some people flip there $#!+ when you don't. They think their time is more important than anyone else'es, and they only have time to win. I like to /surr when playing with those people.

Then what? Ban them all? Have them spread terrible word of mouth? That would be VERY bad for business.
