Odd question... Why did Riot remove Ionic Spark?

Red Rox Kitsune··1 votes·1,242 views

I know its been removed forever ago, but I always was curious as to why exactly it was removed. It was an all-time favorite item of mine, even though nobody else really used it. I'm not complaining or anything I was just curious if there was a specific reason.

According to the wiki

The item was removed because so few champions could use it effectively due to its combination of stats. It was replaced with Statikk Shiv item Statikk Shiv and the buffed Tiamat item Tiamat.[1]
