Guinsoo's Rageblade 
used to be a well balanced item, however as of late it has become a very broken item. For example, if a ranged hero buys this item the you now have aoe attacks. Characters with longer range can now keep you pinned down behind the tower unable to even grab CS. The item should be restored to its S5 stature instead of this new game ruining item.

To be fair, though, I do have to say the amount is sort-of a lot when combined with other items that increase AD and/or AP. Combine with 
and 
on a Champion like 
for a great Hybrid Lane-Pusher. By itself, though, it's not too terrible unless you're just feeding them or going in yourself with no backup.
This item isn't really worth mentioning when you don't plan on making a Hybrid, though. There are plenty of items that increase your stats, and you lose the Passive when you stop attacking for 5 seconds. Once you get ganked, you have to increase your stats again.
The only worth this item really has, when I think about it, is when your plan on Snowballing or clearing Lanes. Because you have to build the stacks (8 of them), you have to pretty much farm or poke before you can make a move.
You assume that a total potential increase of 54 AD and 72 AP suddenly changes games in your favor. You must really love going against Ashe and Lux Bots.
Guinsoos was useless for ages. "well balanced" my ass. Now its op, I agree. But still, that made me laugh.
