How Does Getting S Rank work??

I recently played a Summoners Rift and did the best overall. End Game score was: 14-1-8, Second Most CS, Most Gold, Most Kills, Least Deaths, Took down 3 Towers and 1 Inhibs, 3 Drake Assists, 2 Baron Assists, 3 Tower Assists, Inhib Assist. Yet, a support Nasus goes: 7-4-18, Least Cs, 4th Lowest Cs, 4th Lowest Gold, More Deaths, 1 Drake Assist, 2 Tower and 1 Inhib, gets an S+?? How does that make any sense?? Please explain to me how to get an S because I honestly should have got an S in that match.

Edit I was Veigar, Middle Lane.

Cause the support Nasus is being ranked to the average support Nasus. And since support Nasus is very very VERY rare, the requirement for S is very low. Now as for you: Who were you playing and in what lane?

They compare a number of different things to the average performance of the champion. Lots of kills on someone like Karthus isn't nearly as impressive as some kills on Janna, for example. Meanwhile placing lots of wards as Draven looks better than lots of wards as Sona. (pretty sure they count wards placed, i might be wrong tho)
