Why remove the items?!

Frost Queen's Claim , Talisman of Ascencion and Face of the Mountain... removed

Can someone explain to me why are these items removed? I'm a support main and I like aggresive playstyle... even with Janna! after the coin nerf and spellthief buff there was only spellthief that was worth playing... now that you don't get movement speed after damaging a champion with spellthiefs passive it's not even worth playing it! And the damn ghosts! REMOVED because they were not meta... RIOT really wants supports to just press shield on carries and who gives a fuck about poking or doing some damage ( early game not late ) Too big of a change for me... I don't see myself as a support... or even a player!

they wanted to "open up a slot" since every support was buying sightstone as first full item. they say they're going to make new items for the old support actives. and they took away the support item shield btw.

don't get me wrong i'm upset about the change too i'm just hoping they make up for it with the new items and that they come soon, like 8.4
