Half the time Megagnar feels like a punishment.

This is my biggest complaint with the champion.

The enemies will be in a poke war with my team and I will be throwing out good boomerangs, then suddenly megagnar pops up and I get to sit there uselessly for 10 seconds. Or I am tryingn to last hit against a punishing enemy and suddenly I lose my range. There isn't a way for me to bleed off rage, so I really have no way to avoid this.

What I would really like is a way to not go into megagnar.

If you can't play Gnar with both his forms then you shouldn't play him at all. He was not designed to favor one form over the other like other transformable characters. Changing that aspect would just be silly.

That is his only weakness, otherwise he would be overpowered because admit it, the only reason why mega gnar is balanced it's because you can't control the transformation.

A few tips 1) Watch. wait for your mega-gnar, then time your E, so you can initiate on the enemy team. Remember in mega you are a tank more than a bruiser. That's your job for that time.

**2) Wait. ** Don't feel like you have to constantly attack when in a poke war. Yeah gnar's Q has decent damage, but it can't activate his W through poke alone most the time, and by constantly spamming it you just force yourself over that threshold. If you pause and let your rage die down you can delay the mega to better time the transformation.

**3) Eat the pokes! ** (assuming they don't pierce) So something i'm not sure about is exactly how the health works with the transformations. I know if you don't take damage then you lose the bonus health, but i want to say that the bonus health almost acts like a shield, so that if you gain 500 health in mega, then take 400 damage, when you return to mini-gnar you will have not effectively lost any health. Even so! You have bonus health regen, while in mega so you brush off the hits more easily, and you are bigger target so it's harder to miss you anyway.

When Mega-Gnar transforms back in mini-Gnar he maintains the same percentage of health. If you were at 50% health when the transformation ends, you stay at 50% health, with the numbers adjusting for your reduced life total. Since you lose the flat health bonus from Mega-form, your life total will go down by a small amount, although the amount lost will always be less than the flat health bonus (unless you were at 100% life).
