you have to lose like 2 games while sitting on 0 LP in order to get demoted.

It depends on your MMR. You're not gaining very much, so it's possible.

It takes quite a few losses at 0lp rank 5 to demote a whole division. I had that issue once with Gold/Silver, and on a really really ugly streak I think I lost 10 games at 0lp before going back to Silver 1

MMR looks good. If your MMR is below the tier, you can get demoted from a single loss. You look safe though.

It's extremely unlikely to get demoted due to losses from a tier, as in order to get demoted from a tier you need to have an MMR comparable to that of a (tier-1) 5 player, which you your case would mean you'd need to be playing at a plat 5 level. If you genuinely got to diamond on your own merits, then falling that far is improbable.

Falling divisions is relatively easy since you only need an mmr comparable to the division below, but full tier drops are hard.

edit: The scariest point would be when you're getting matchmade with plat 4's and palt 5's, since then your demotion is coming soon. You seem to be being matched with plat 2's or so, so you've still got some safety net.

I also am lead to believe if you check you profile, there will be a warning surrounding your rank if you're at risk of being demoted, that has both a yellow level for when you're getting close and a red level when you're right at the edge.

IDK man once i was in my promos to go from bronze one to silver 5, and i lost one of the games (not a series ending game i think i was like 2-2 total and it just straight up demoted me mid-series.

That was a while ago though, i think the past couple seasons they have patched up the system
