They still can, it just takes more skill now.
You want to dumpster a Riven in lane?
It's a very one-sided matchup. If you play and build appropriately, you should be able to 1v1 Riven at most stages of the game and be more useful than she is in teamfights.
Ok just buffing Jax or Irelia you get even more complaining, Just give Riven a mana bar so she not freely spamming ability. or you nerf Riven Valor because a +1.0 per bonus attack damage is not needed.
Just play fiora into riven. Riven tries to engage on you and you just make her eat her own cc.
