Placements for season 7

So far I have 3wins and 3 losses, two matches someone went afk on my team. I was steadily climbing in duo queue with my duo partner during the preseason, but ended at silver v with 43 lp before the start of season 7. If I win the next 4 matches would I be able to place in silver, or would I have to climb out of bronze again. I can easily climb out if need be, but it gets old fast when you have to climb out of the same elo again and again. I didn't bother climbing flex queue after the fix. Most of the time I carry my duo partner or I help him get fed so he can help another lane and I can focus on the remaining lane. I am hoping we can continue our climb to gold at least starting from silver so it is not too long of a grind.

I "believe" bronze players have a better shot at silver, silver are not affected much, and gold+ almost always go down. Also I think the earlier games are weighted different (for placements). 5 wins in a row then 5 losses will be different rank than 5 losses followed by 5 wins (I forget which is better worse).

You will most likely end up in Bronze 3 or 4 based on your current win rate and your MMR.

I was Silver 3

won 8 lost 2

Placed me bronze 4

Had quite a bit of fun smashing back to silver.

I mean winning won't ever hurt but everyone gets placed lower so you might get bronze if you were silver V. Don't let it get you down, ranked isn't that hard at that elo. If you're good you'll climb just hard to do.

I would recommend watching n3acy if you need to learn the game. Trust me he helps bronze and silver scrubs all day. Watch his coaching videos for one of the champions you use. His tips are how i climbed to plat 1 then diamond a couple seasons ago. I'm sure you'll climb if you take the time to learn the game and not try to brute force the game like a lot of people do. Smarter player = higher elo. Brute force = bronze. You have to think about everything you do. Also try to learn dota 2 if you really want to climb it increases your apm having to just play that game and also makes you think about wtf you are doing and makes you rethink what your mindset is. I have a philosophy with friends I taught to climb past silver, if you can play dota 2 then you can climb past silver for sure.

FYI this is a burner because I don't like using my real ign since riot tantram is looking for a reason to ban me. (he likes to lead witch hunts and I like to call him out on it long story short.)
