What is the point of Master Yi in this game at all? It is 99% banned in solo queue and when it's not banned usually ppl feel sorry that they don't ban it because Yi just double shot for one kill super fast on late game.
This champ need to be deleted or complete rework. No LCS use no SOLO queue use. The whole idea of this champ is unclear.
That i call NON SENSE.

Pre-release of new runes and stuff, no one complained about Master Yi, but now out of sudden he is strong, why?

And nobody will complain of course if they don't play it. But now he is so strong that they don't care CC because he can double shot anyone... and in solo q all the way up to diamond there aren't smart enough players to deal with it so they just ban it.
What is the conclusion? Either nobody plays it or its full time banned. So where do you find sense in this champ? Even his abilities are super booooring. PRESS THE ATTACK!

Ch1efBeefQueef1 votesIve been playing lots of yi since the early seasons of this game, he has gone through his ups and downs, but i can assure you he is well balanced and has quite a fair share of counter play. He might not right now, and that is because the new items and runes make his current kit insanely strong.
His alpha cooldown before the runes/essence reaver change was roughly about 3 seconds provided he got a kill and was consistently autoing champs with his ult up. Now he has almost no cd on alpha provided he kills his target, which he can do almost instantly because of the insane damage meta.
I don't need to try to convince you, you need only look at the patch history of yi, and ask yourself if it was him and his kit that got changed before he became broken, or if it was the items and runes that pushed him over the edge.

Ch1efBeefQueef1 votesWrong, as long as you know what you are doing you can preform well on a consistent basis. You don't need to look further than Cowceps channel. The only reason he is obnoxious at the moment is because of the stupid item/runes that Riot has produced this season and that issue impacts champions in an unhealthy way across the board.

SkinnyLegendz1 votesMaster Yi shouldn't be deleted. He is a body of work that has taken a lot of time and effort but I largely dislike him. His scaling and ganks when he is fed is obnoxious. I hate the idea of getting 100-0 easily by some yellow samurai dude at maximum overdrive speed. I dislike Yi and I frequently ban him or Udyr if I jungle. However, I don't think he needs a total overhaul. I think a fix to his scaling and maybe adjustment or new W, E or abilities. His Q is annoying but also it's what makes Master Yi, Master Yi. I know the frustration of having a fed Master Yi nyooom at you and brainlessly press Q and left click a few times.

HolyJellyMate1 votesIf you see a Master Yi on the enemy team (assuming you're in Ranked or Draft), don't be afraid to tell your team to pick champions with reliable CC, if they don't listen, then pick a CC champ (non-tank because tanks suck now and he'll shred) and then save your CC for Master Yi when he uses Q, unless there's a better champion to use your CC on.
