Jungling and Ganking

Hey summoners! Writing to see if I can get tips on both jungling and ganking.

  1. When I am in the jungle farming or walking normally and I see the enemy jungler I tend to panic and lose the fight to him, because he/she normally do pick a fight on me.

  2. I feel I'm not confident at all with ganks because when I think it's time to gank when most of times it is, I don't because I tend to think I will die and that the gank will not be worth it even when it's obvious it will, tips? Thanks in advance!

PS: I play Evelynn Evelynn so if you could give me tips on ganking with her specifically and on what route to do after getting the Red and the raptors I'd appreciate it :D

PPS: I normally go out of patience (aka get impatient) and gank on bad timings, help? xD

Youre still a very low level account, which tells me you don't have a lot experience. Youre going to go through months of learning, and feeling out what you can and cannot skirmish with. When you should and should not skirmish. etc etc.

as of right now, I imagine u have no idea what champions you can beat 1v1 if you encounter them at lets say...a scuttle crab. And that will come with practice and knowledge. Just keep playing games. Reading stuff on forums isn't going to really help anything, you just gotta feel things out for yourself.

Youre going to feel bad for a while. Youre playing a game that's been out for like 10+ years. Even the bottom tier of our playerbase is pretty darn knowledgeable in regards to pretty much everything.

You need to get a feel for if they can see you or not as jungler, sometimes they obviously see you and you might need to force the gank, but if they don't see you and especially as Eve you can wait for them to use a spell or ability or commit to a target ( especially a dash/blink) before ganking and killing them while it is on CD. Or if you know where the enemy jungler is pathing to gank maybe one of your shoved up lanes you can roam to them as well and counter gank, sometimes this doesn't work out and you end up backing in their bush after 30sec or so but that's perfectly fine.

With evelynn earlygame you can really only gank a lane that is shoved and out of position. Ideally you want your laner to be fighting his opponent when you get in W range. This is because putting your W on them means they either have to keep fighting and die to your MR shredding taunt, or run away which allows your laner to get risk-free damage off. Post-6 don't forget to use your ability to stealth in the middle of a minion wave to bait an enemy who's looking to grab that cs.

I have this issue at times. There are two things that you need to consider when you find yourself facing off against the enemy jungler.

First, you need to consider the matchup between yourself and the enemy jungler. The champions themselves have different power curves. Some champions are incredibly strong early and can easily take any 1v1 trade with relative safety. Someone like Evelynn is not an early game duelist. She is actually pretty strong level 1 because of her Q, but she takes a fast dip compared to most other junglers until she reaches level 6.

The second thing you need to keep in mind is if your allies are able to help you. This is really where I have the most trouble. I personally think that laners could be better about abandoning minions in favor of helping their jungler win a challenge from the enemy jungler. I mean, they expect junglers to not afk farm camps to help them win their lane. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, laners will only leave their lane to come help you if their lane is pushed out or slow pushing to them.

With these two things in mind, if you are not in a favorable matchup and your nearby laners are not likely to come help you, do what you can to avoid a fight.
