Evelynn becoming useless

Eve used to be a fun champ to play, highly mobile, decent damage and able to use invisibility to pick people off or chase them down. Now i feel she is past "incredibly weak." This new map re-work has rendered her unable to get the gromp and ancient golem blue buff without having to recall in between. The tweak to her passive (2% mana regen while invisible) was a great idea, but her ap... there is no point in building her with ap right now because the hate spike does so little damage and the ult is only used for cc. what happened to a champ that could be a hybrid ap and ad, instead of being nerfed to beyond weak in this new jungle. Thoughts and comments appreciated for the underpowered and underplayed champ.
