My team keeps feeding, what can I do?

So I have recently ranked up to silver after years of being bronze. One thing I noticed is that people feed way harder in silver than in bronze. I am having consistent problems with teammate(s) going 1-12 consistently. I still have a positive win rate but that is because they other team usually blows a late game team fight and we end up winning that way. I consider myself an AD carry main but I am somewhat decent at every role but top lane. The problem I have is that my teammates constantly want to fight and are kill greedy. I like to play champions that are good late game and see the benefit in taking gathering storm. My teammates seem to all in everyone they see. I have teammates trying to 1v1 their lane opponent when they are 0-5 and their lane opponent is 5-0. I try to tell them to chill and farm it out until late game but they seem to ignore me and take another fight to make it 0-6. I have had many teammates chase a full health support from dragon pit to their inhib towers burning both summoners to only get caught by the entire enemy team that was on their way to save their support. The problem I have is that the people that feed aren't even the ones that should be focused in team fights. They are our tanks and supports that for whatever reason are in their jungle alone and get caught out. I am usually the only one, maybe one more that has died less than 10 times. I am the adc, i am usually the first or second person focused in a team fight and I have no problem. I cannot remember a time I have died more than 10 times in a game, these aren't like 60 minute games either, my average is probably like 30-35 minutes. I have tried telling teammates to chill and farm in order to wait for late game. I have tried playing jungle to help out losing lanes, but the problem is that they always want to fight, and they will fight whether i'm there or not. I am a decent jungle but I know that there are a bunch of players better than me so thats why I stick to ADC. My question is, what can I do to get my teammates to die less. What role should I play, whenever I switch roles it seems that whatever role I just came from seems to feed the most. Has anyone else had a problem like this and found the solution?

ADC is too hard to carry from in low elo because you rely on your support and team to get you to your powerspikes.

Play a Jungler like Graves, Kha, or Jax and carry

Play mids like Orianna, Fizz, and Akali and carry

Speaking as a support main around your level: all you can do is become so fking scary that no one on the other team wants to be near you. Bot lane's main concern is farm, securing kills when possible, and avoiding enemy ganks. Mid can roam and top can TP; you're the one least expected to make moves into other lanes (even your support should generally be looking to do that more than you).

There's a quote from someone at Riot that says, essentially, if you always play your lane evenly, you shouldn't expect a great win rate because you're not doing enough to make up for the games where your teammates play poorly. You can't stop teammates from dying unless you're there to protect them, and you're in the role least expected to provide pressure and protection until later in the game. So, as Arlene says, you can switch positions, or you can learn to be a better ADC than your opponent frequently enough that you can make up for teammates failing in a sufficient number of games to rise in rank.

Looking at your op.gg, though, it seems like you're finding success on Sej. She's damn strong in general, and at low elo in particular, so you might just keep abusing her.

should I even try to protect them even if I know we are going to lose a fight. Many times my teammates just straight up try to take a 1v3 when im there, I know there is no way we can win because im 1-1, my teammate is 1-9, and the three of them combined are 22-3. should i die with my teammate or run because he was stupid enough to engage on them?

If the question is 'should I die or run', the answer is run. Giving the enemy fewer kills is better than giving them more.

When your team is down 10-15 kills, there isn't much you can do except defend, and if your teammates still refuse to defend it's basically a lost cause. ADCs come into their own a bit later than other positions, but you should rarely end up in games where everything's gone out of hand before you have a chance to do something about it. If falling behind as a team happens more often than you're comfortable with, find comfort champs you can push for lane dominance with and try to balance the scales or flat-out carry everyone. A Vayne/Caitlyn/Jinx/Trist with three kills at fifteen minutes, for example, is already going to be pretty damned scary, and if the enemy isn't careful they're going to take over the whole game.

In the name of not just giving up in a bad situation, part of getting better is knowing the times when you're not as behind as it might appear, and when you can get work done if your teammates just do enough to distract the opponents. There are also times when it's correct to trade your own life for a kill because you'll get more out of it (shutdown gold bonus), but even that's only if you're stuck and unlikely to escape. If it's an unwinnable fight and you can run, just go. If you're alive, at least you can keep farming lanes and maybe get a red buff.

SO basically im on my smurf because mine got banned for two weeks, and Ive gotten to the level where everyone else on both teams have ahigh chance of being a smurf as well. League is getting really frustrating and I feel like im getting unlucky.. Ik this thread was like 2 years ago lol but I need to vent out some steam. A lot of the time my losses have a strong positive kda. However recently id say 7/10 of my games would have our team on 1-10 kills and the enemy would be around 20-40 kills. League is so hard to have fun when I'm constantly losing, with my team feeding alot. My team somehow manages to fuck up alot of things and It gets really frustrating anf I feel like im going insane rip. The champs im versing also are just unfair... Pyke, aatrox, yasuo. Ik thats some "Low elo complaints" but theres too many op champs to ban and I cant help but feed and lose any motivation :/ Thanks for listening to my ted talk.
