Nostalgia on 3 reworks. Rantlike

What makes a good rework in a champion is to give them a healthier kit with a sense of familiarity of the old champion.

When I talk about familiarity, I mean to talk about their play-style.

Champions that I am glad that you reworked correctly are Kayle Nunu Ezreal Ryze

Champions that I am pissed off that you reworked into (These champions that you have reworked aren’t necessarily terrible, but they have no characteristics of their past selves. These are basically deleting champions and giving them a new brand kit)

I’ll give some examples

Old Urgot ADC who is based off using E to use honing missiles on enemy champions, and to destroy enemy position with his ult. New urgot Top lane bruiser who fights in close combat to proc off his passive and to maximize his damage. Extremely different.

Old Aatrox AS fighter who relied on lifesteal and cc to demolish his enemies New Aatrox Riven turned into a tank but is dramatically slower

Old Poppy A champion that was very flexible in damage and tank. Could turn into a never dying champ or into a one shot assassin New poppy A ****ing tank

These reworks shouldn’t be remaking a new champion entirely. I was in love with these three old champions in which they turned into something nothing that once drew me into playing them.

Kudos with nunu rework tho. I love that you kept his ult and q, and gave him a big ass snowball.

So of all the reworks they've done, it's ironic that you complained about reworks that they did a good job on and said they did a good job on a couple they did a bad job on.

So Kayle needed a rework, and she got one that has really fallen flat. They made a cool concept, and then they killed it because the community hated it.

Old Urgot was meant to be a shorter ranged ADC that can grapple with opponents with his Shield and swapping Ult. Current Urgot fits the feel of the design of Urgot.

Old Aatrox was just trash and impossible to make balanced because of the very nature of his kit. New Aatrox has a very different feel but he can actually play League without being extremely underpowered or degenerate. (And his new flavor is way better anyways)

Old Poppy was outrageously degenerate. I played her...and it was literally cheating. You press R on the support, kill the ADC without being able to take damage, during this time you build your W resistance stacks so when you actually tanky when you join the fight. New Poppy fits her lore better anyways.

Now, champions they did poor reworks on, let's talk about Evelynn. She is now a different SPECIES!Was human, now is a demon. Like seriously, how is that a rework when you change not only a champion's entire kit but ALSO her species. Also, talk about making the game less family friendly, I used to play her a bit now I feel like I'm watching some inappropriate material just hearing what she says.

New Aatrox has never been anything but busted or troll pick

OG Aatrox had several fairly long periods where he was completely fine.

As far as I know, old Urgot was primarily played in the top lane like current Urgot.

And he wasn't really an ADC... his kit was all over the place. He had a long range poke with his E and Q combo, matching the poke of artillery mages. Then he had a shield and 2!!!! damage reduction effects in his kit (passive and ult), which are skills which should be naturally on a tanky champion, not a long range poke champion.

Now it's finally decided what he is supposed to be, a bruiser. Which fits his lore identity pretty well, too. Even old Urgot, he was a big fat sack of goo with technology stucking out here and there.
