I play a lot of 
support and people complain that I'm not casting my shield enough on them. Whats worse is that I can't defend myself with some stats to show them I have been shielding them.
Can "Damage Shielded" be added to Match History's "statistics"? The shield is such a big part of the kit and when I can't show people they got plenty of shields I just feel hopeless.
No mention of her? I mean she always use her shield all the time.

While the postgame stats have been conspicuously missing this entry for far too long, it won't help Lux much, especially in YoloQ. They'll just dodge it anyway, afterall.
I would love to see this. Especially if I decide to play Lulu or Karma. Even a champ that only shields themselves like Naut or even a Maokai ulti.

I agree full-heartedly and full-headedly. A "Damage Shielded" stat would be great. There are so many support champions whose shields are a vital part of their kit, so many champions who deserve a bit of statistical love and attention. ... In order to assess the performance of a Janna/Lulu/Thresh/Karma/etc., the current stats in "Match History" are not enough. Yes, the number of wards they placed and the damage they dealt tells part of the story. But not the whole story. There's a statistical void. ... I think it would be awesome (and way more comprehensive) if there was another tab in the "Match History" window that allowed players to see more complex stats. Stats like "Damage Shielded" and "Total Duration Stunned" (which would show the amount of time a given champion stunned enemy champions). Just a thought.
I still wonder why some people voted this one down. I think it is something which is needed - for that "other group of supports" - the ones who shield and absorb damage, as opposed to heal. Or perhaps we could have a combined damage shielded/healed statistic?
