No Troll, But what about Zed Support?

So we all seen full ap , , ,. So why can be the full ad support. Yeah yeah he doesn't have a stun or a knock up but come on its . He has long range poke, an escape, a slow and can go all in under tower and still live. Someone like , , , or all would be a great duo for zed. with the slows and stuns for the easy ult combo. for the knock up ult and gets another easy ult. for the speed up (not the best adc but all zed players know how it feels when you couldn't run fast enough to get the kill). can E ults and no tank support has a chance in that lane. has super long range (when the death mark leaves them with 2 hp) and his ult defiantly makes a happy player. It's just a thought that I've been thinking about for a while and I wanna know how people think about it

I have seen it work.

That's just in bronze/ low silver.

May have to try other elos. Has good zoning potential.

It was a friend who did. I would trust any random zed for it..

You make about as good of an argument as you can for it, but at the end of the day I'd still trust Shaco support more.

Counter suggestion: Urgot as support. Hyper-poke, armor-shred, slow, locks down an enemy, debuffs their DPS. His entire design screams that he's a debuffing support that lines up kills for an ADC. Downside: Mana costs.

All of those ap champs have one thing in common. They combine burst and crowd control. Zed lacks the crowd control to secure kills bot, and to peel for his carry.

His only real advantage to being a support is the poke and slow, but neither of those are really going to make up for the lack of peel, utility or, tankiness that most supports give. He also doesn't have the ability to do the normal Zed things, like assassination, simply, cause he will be behind in levels/gold.

Because supports are there for utility. There's a reason even the full ap supports are bad after early game. The whole point of duo bot is to help one person get as much gold as possible. Sure zed works if you kill them early, but late game if he doesn't get items he doesn't do well.

I've done zed support in recent years. the problem is he has no peel and is still a one trick pony and once he w's hes pretty much fucked if out of position. a decent healer with face of the mountain or shields or someone who can peel zed right after ult to limit extra damage will counter him. Then theres the fact you have 2 squishies bot and the support has no utility outside of poking with w/q and w/e. So in low elo, he'll blow adcs up. but in higher elo he'll get poked down until he has to constantly return to base.
