If you like tanks then go Volibear

Zed can be really fun for some people, (he's one of the only champions I play due to that) and he has a safe lane phase, so he's a fairly solid pick middle, but he's an assassin and has the OPness/UPness/problems that stem from that, he plays very different from someone like Voli, too bad you have to wait for champions to be on free week to try them

For current meta, volibear; he's actually quite strong due to him working like a juggernaut which allows him to use the new juggernaut items effectively.

If you want to buy zed then you have to learn how to play against like 10-ish mids that can counter you which will take quite a bit of games, then you will have to learn how to play around qss and zhonyas. He needs a lot of your attention.

volibear is a really strong champion that i personally really hate. hes one of those. build full tank and do tons a damage. mundo and stuff except hes good early game too.
