Penalty for disconnection and "afk"

ok so the past few days i really liked what ive seen. but when i play in the evening i have to eat dinner do school ect. ect. and if im in the middle of a game and have to leave for more pressing matters i get que penalties. just now i ate dinner and left a game... now i have 5 fricken 10min ques. that is absolutely ridiculous. i like this game but i dont have time for this kind of shit. i get that being afk is an issue but there should be a better type of system because getting penalized for eating dinner and finishing an essay is an awful excuse at battling afkers or trolls. makes me not want to play at because anytime i have to leave i get in trouble for it. and just started getting fiora down and i dont even feel like playing now. thats 50min total wait for 5 games that depending on the team could take 30-45min or more that is terrible i cant understand how this is a good system...
