Not Getting Primary Role, Despite Putting Mid or Top as Secondary

So, I'm an adc main, hovering between s2 and s3. I do well in almost every game I play adc in, and have gotten pretty close to my promos to s1 many times. Recently though, I've noticed that I haven't been getting adc very often. I played 8 games today, and played adc once. The weird thing is though, I don't have a roll that is unwanted as my secondary. I typically have it as mid, since that is highly contested, but for some reason, I've been getting mid a ton, and I always lose because I get stuck against level 7 yasuo and zed main, when I'm just playing a champ that I picked up in some free time. I tried putting my secondary as top to see if it would be any better, and I still got top over adc. because of this, I got demoted to s3, and have lost my series twice since I don't get to play adc during my series. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing similar issues, or if it's just that I'm unlucky, but I'm curious to know why I can't get adc. Is adc suddenly really popular? Are top or mid no longer the best choices to put as secondary if you want primary? I've put so much time into learning how to climb as an adc, but I never get to use it and just get destroyed by people who are playing their main role. which is really upsetting.

You should be able to play at least 2 roles if you want to play ranked

As a mid main who was forced to play top in 90% of my games because people like you just put mid as secondary, I hope you fall to bronze :)
