The thing about pulling, though, is that the light object is going to be pulled over to the heavier object due to different friction forces they're exerting on the ground. In nautilus's case he's obviously heavier than most, but because he floats in the air (dance motion) he exerts no friction force on the ground, thus he can pull himself over to pretty much anything. However, when he's snared he's forced to stand on the ground, and with his weight he'll have insane amount of friction force stopping him from being pulled to any terrain.

If anything, I find and being able to move their snared teammate more illogical. Snared target is stuck in place so you shouldn't be able to move your mouth after you swallow an immovable object. Likewise, even if you turn your teammate into invulnerable state, he/she's still stuck and shouldn't be able to move.
