Nasus no fun

I've been playing LOL for close to 5 years now. My main has always been Nasus. I've played him every way possible over the years and I have to say, he's just no fun anymore. Most other top champs outplay him easily now. He has nearly no survivability compared to other champs. He gets zoned out constantly. He is basically useless until his stacks reach 300! Do you realize how long it takes to get 300 stacks? Thats pretty much killing at least 200 minions. Most games dont even last that long! All anyone has to do is get health regen and some armor or damage and Nasus can do nothing. Even when I do great with him my #s end up looking something like 7/2/10. Either I am the worlds worst player now and I should quit and uninstall permanently or Nasus is severely under powered. I've studied other champs, items, builds, runes; I've used guides and other players builds from forums. I just dont think it's me. I think Nasus needs some changes. I would suggest making his q stronger in the beginning, but the same late game. I also would suggest making the cooldowns on other champ's slow immunities last longer or give spirit fire more damage and more attack speed reduction. Nasus seems SOOO slow mid game. I buy Boots of Speed with alacrity and use wither and/or exhaust and still cant chase down shyvana, gnar, tryn, yi, hec, riven, kha zix, tristana.... on and on; especially now that nearly everyone uses flash in every game. I would suggest making wither slow longer or more intense as well, and possibly decreasing the mana cost early game for wither, spirit fire, and Fury. I think at least some of these changes are more than fair. I mean seriously; how many times have you seen a Nasus come out of a game with 27/2/5? I never have and I've played hundreds of games with him... I can only hope that a game master will read this I guess. I dont usually try to contact LOL about game issues but my quality of game play with Nasus is terrible now and everyone's starting to blame me when we lose so it's either time to Give up LOL or give up Nasus until he gets some help.

Nasus needs a rework. He's a top lane time bomb and is not fun to play against top since there's a huge amount of pressure to shut him down. Even when you counter him, you have to stay top a lot of the time so he can't farm, which isn't that much fun for a top laner that scales less late game than nasus. And when you don't, there's just the crippling feeling of "I can't do anything against him, I'll just sit quietly and farm and watch as he out-scales me.

I agree extremely with this idea, even though I know it won't happen. It's irritating when you manage to get a lead on a Susan in lane through two or three solo kills and even manage to zone him off of farm, but at the back of your mind you realize that he's just a time bomb with the longest fuse you've ever seen. I was playing Diana top in a ranked game, Silver 5. I managed to utterly destroy Nasus in the early game, just because of a few outplays along with the amount of damage Diana can do with her shield. But then my bot lane ganked hard and ended up getting killed. I roamed down towards bot and ended up getting even more fed, but eventually we ran into a problem. All that time I was helping bot? Susan managed to get 300 Q stacks and started to wreck all of us. I ended that game 11 and 5, but before Susan came down from his merry farmville, I had been 9 and 2. So, ya, Susan needs to get a rework.

I feel like having in excess of 900 stacks on Susan is not a requirement to do well and I honestly stopped reading your wall of text at about that point. I'm pretty sure having a sheen and pressing Q every 2.4 seconds for something like 1200 dmg is pretty devastating to just about every champ in the game.

Oops I meant 300 stacks not minion kills

Nasus can't do anything but turret sit until late game. Everyone knows all you have to do is keep nasus away from minions early game and he's useless the entire game. The mana problem is horrible until mid game as well.

Except to do so, you have to stay top and bully him. All game until "late game." If you leave for a minute or so, he just gets a ton of stacks and then same problem.

Lol you salty noobs

I too am nasus main, I just get stacks, then 1 shot the adc and towers and win the game

Here is a tip, build full tank and start with frozen heart or even sheen

And don't be so butthurt item 3144 summoner 3

DuSellinator1 votes

Not helpfull... I've built frozen heart many times and if the other team has a decent top or jg they just use the wasted time not getting any damage taken at all, to gank mid or steal our jgs creeps...

I just focus on stacking early on, if the enemy plays very agressive at lvl 2 I stay back and only go in when q is up to last hit

DuSellinator1 votes

That's the same thing I do, but even doing that I still take more damage usually than I give because Nasus has no damage until he stacks for days. Also it leaves thier top to free feed on minions while Nasus is mostly zoned out of his q.

I start doran shield and I have custom rune pages

Also how many stacks do you get at 10 or 20 cause that is very important

I usually get 200 at 10 and 450 at 20

That is when you go help team, I usually stop focusing on nothing but farm around then

Yah I dont like the idea of gaining infinity dmg over time, every time vs a Nasus its, either camp him all game or do not make game last 40min or we done for.

300 stacks takes 100 kills, its 3 per kill, up from 2 back in S1, as for tankiness, Nasus is mad tanky, just lacks any decent form on gap closing.

I feel like you fellas is thankin about this all wrong. Start the game with 10%CDR, 13 AD, 72 HP, buy a flask and 4 pots. Your Q is a better auto attack, your W is an AS slow, your E shreds armor. You are now setup to trade like a madman at level 3 as long as its not riven or maybe rumble. Then again doing something silly like first picking Susan is begging to have someone pick one of them bullies. In the current meta I feel like Susan is a god among tanks. You get to punch ppl in the face for over 1000dmg and get 20% of that back....WHILE having over 300 armor and 150MR and 40%cdr.

Just sayin...it ain't so bad.
