When unable to connect

It happens often that if I can't connect to the game, for some reason, after I've already locked in my champion that I'll get reported for purposely playing bad, or "throwing the match".. but they have no way of knowing that I was unable to enter the game, or that maybe I was lagging... I know that nothing can be done to fix lagging, but why isn't there something to implement telling other players that my connection was lost?

If the game can tell me my network is slow, or that my connection was lost altogether, why can't that pop-up in the game to prevent unneccesary booting?

If connection issues are such a problem for you, and lag is such a problem for your, then improve you tools or stop playing. It's rude and disrespectful to play a game where a team is dependent on you, but you consistently fail to show up.

Well, this post was literally made right after I was unable to connect to the first game I tried to play in 4 years.

I had stopped playing because my computer couldn't handle the game. At this point the only issue was lagging.

I just got a new laptop before starting school, and today I thought I'd see if I could remember how to play.

Pardon me for not knowing that my laptop couldn't connect to the game. This is why I think there should be a code implemented to let players know that someone's connection was lost and were unable to participate.

The code should be written to not let players connect to champion select if their current state is too high of a ping.

That would work too.

I mean like, it doesn't make sense to be labeled a deserter just because of technical difficulties, know what I mean?
