Okay, so i know this might be a dumb question but im not too knowledgeable about the game and im hoping to learn a bit here. I recently got Diana. Im enjoying her a lot but ive mostly been playing jungle. Now i know that Diana is mainly played on mid lane, but i was wondering if Diana Jungle was still viable. i know it used too be and ive played against it before and it seemed to hurt a lot, as Diana does. Since I know im bad i would hate to assume that she is viable in jungle and go into a game and let my team down. It just sounds like a bad time. I was also was wondering what other lanes she could be played in. I dont mind taking her mid and i would love to have a good midlaner like her but i do enjoy champs that can be played in multiple lanes!

Thanks for reading, i hope this isnt a dumb question. Diana summoner 11

Diana is totally out-meta since two season, specially jungle where is hard to play vs jungler with good/strong early on this meta(like Lee and Elise).

Mid is the only possible lane for her because have good match up with some mages and assasins bu not even here is a solid pick. Toplane there are bruisers domination and she can't fight them. Ignore botlane.

BUT if you like play her, then play her: before Plat, rarely people know how to play vs Diana.

As a Diana one trick her best roles are Mid / Top currently. Jungle can work, but she's c tier at best due to the crappy EXP / Gold gains. Also, lack of pre 6.

Mid Diana is her best role by far.

Jungle Diana is weak at the moment. The best builds on Diana at the moment seem to be buying item 3027 and item 3115. Jungle Diana usually buys item 1402 first which isn't desirable on her as it provides little AP, no CDR, no attack speed, and gives no survivability. In other words, Jungle Diana's build path is massively delayed. She can't really gank pre-6 and she's very susceptible to invades.

Top Diana is okay - maybe her second best position. The longer lane makes it rough though, since she has no escapes and is even more vulnerable to ganks. She also has a ton of bad match ups top lane. Diana doesn't have the power pre-6 to fight lane bullies like Renekton and Riven, and it'll be hard to kill juggernauts and tanks because they're not as squishy as many midlaners. Her mana costs are rough and it's usually more punishing to back when you're low. She has no sustain either.
