why am i gaining less even though I got s+ twice but lose more makes no sense especially with the players on here lol how do you expect us to rank up faster

I'd highly recommend trying to relearn the game as you've definitely gone astray. After over a whole thousand games this season, you haven't climbed (in fact you've climbed down). im just asking about LP the reason i have so many games on one champ is cause i climb then want to learn a new champ and lose a lot cause im learning and I go back down thats all it is, i was silver 3 then got kayn and wanted to learn so i fell back down like i always do, then i rank back up again I've done this like 4 to 5 times already on several champs my elo doesn't mean much unless im gonna win money off it

your gold 4 is not hard to get i was in promos for silver 2 wanted to try something new

thats all it is literally you can see for yourself I've lost so many games with kayn trying to learn him better and yeah im improving but still have a lot of match ups to go through to see how they go and whats the best option,

plus im an off meta warrior its to much fun you will never do what I do

how does MMR even work never really cared about it plus I just wanted to know why im getting less so im guessing its my MMR

It's a hidden number (so even third party estimates are just estimates), that goes up when you win games, and down when you lose games, and is the number that determines who you're actually matched with (your rank doesn't actually matter).

How much it goes up for wins depends on the MMR's of everyone else in the game, and similarly for how much it goes down when you lose games. Your in-game performance itself doesn't actually matter, so if you 1v9 hard carry to a win your mmr goes up the same amount as if you fed hardcore but your team managed to carry you, all that matters is if you won or lost.

LP gains/losses then depend on your MMR compared to your current rank, so if your mmr is higher than expected for your rank, you'll gain more than you lose, and if it's lower than you lose more than you gain.
