You shouldn't be able to ban hovered champions of your team mates

Whenever I'm playing ranked and I hover a champion to communicate with my team that I am going to play a certain champ, the last thing they should want to do is ban my pick. I am personally a 1 trick pony (I know this is frowned upon) but when my champion gets banned I dodge. So when my champion gets banned by my own team? That's absurd. I had a guy ask me if he could mid, and I had told him that I only play talon mid, and he proceeded to ban talon. That's just childish and shouldn't be possible. If you declare intent it should be off limits to your team to ban that champion. That is all.

I don't like the idea of saving the hovered champ. I mean, whenever a broken champion appears that everybody hates (or only you hate for a good reason), you should be able to ban that champ. The hovering-option is just for saying what you prefer. There is a reason why you must have at least 16 champs before you are able to play or at least lvl 30 for ranked games. For a good draft-pick it is needed to have a wider champion-pool than one champion. If you don't like the system behind draft-pick, you should play blind pick because this is the foundation of it. I also don't like it when player are banning champs just for the troll but you are not forced to hover a champ and these trollers are the minority. Maybe you should try hovering someone else and then write in the chat that you are going to play talon or you should try and play other champs because for a ranked game it is never good to have only one good champ to play. The enemies could ban talon as well.

I only play ranked. I'm only referring to ranked. I'm currently plat 3, so it's working out decently for me. I don't need more than 1 champion, I need my own team mates to not intentionally ban me out of my pick.

The only time I'm going to play a normal game is if I'm with real life friends and I wanna play AD Soraka top. Kids in higher elos (Not that plat is high but it's not low) tend to have massive egos so if you don't give them their way then they will troll you and flame you. This is why banning a hover shouldn't be possible.

I understand if there's 1 champ that's SUPER overpowered for a patch (which rarely ever happens) and the person hovering that champ is last pick, but in this case your team could just first pick that champion for you. It doesn't make sense to see someone is good at something and that's what they prefer to do and your own team just gets to ban you out of it.

The problem here: You are not the only one. It may works for you and you have no probs with it but you are a minority. Not many players are only playing one champ and are good enough with it to become plat or higher. The whole draftpick system is build on the expectation that you have a bigger champion-pool and you are able to counterpick or being flexible in general. So yes, it might be annoying for you but all in all it is useful and needed to be able to ban champs that are hovered.
