The fact that it detects wards is fucking bullshit. Honestly. Negates having to buy scanners. If they want people to have an advantage with buying it, simply let them see there is a ward nearby, but 8 fucking seconds of black out is ridiculous. They need to just have the ward eyeball warning pop up so they can reroute. That shit fucking broken.
I personally dislike that it gives utility and burst to assassins. Yeah, you have to be in melee range to get the slow in the auto, but most assassins have a gapcloser or stealth to get to melee range, so it's not like it's impossible for them to get in range to use it. If it gave the assassin move speed on hitting the auto, that I could deal with, because then it benefits him only, not his team. Slowing a carry, even if you die, is big in a teamfight, cause it can lead to another person landing CC that finishes the kill. Not to mention it's a sweeper essentially, which again is benefiting his team without him meaning too. If it just warned you that it was warded, that's something, but not giving you the ability to clear the ward as well.
I wish the people who were making these delete duskblade threads would take a moment to actually think about why it's here and what impact it's removal would have on the assassin class. I feel you would all immediately understand why it is never touched if you just thought about it.
